Mr. George Anatory serves as the Chief Operations Officer for THPS. In this role, he oversees all operational support functions to ensure smooth program implementation and compliance with funders, the Government of Tanzania, and internal policies and procedures. Previously, he served as the Deputy Country Director for ICAP-Columbia University. He has over 30 years of experience managing cooperative agreements, grants, and contracts for international and local non-governmental organizations. His areas of expertise include financial management, project coordination with the host government, design and administration of grant strategy, grant policy formulation, grant/proposal writing, establishment of proposal evaluation panels, startup of complex projects in complex environments, project closeout, and coordination of multi-donor HIV/AIDS, malaria, Tuberculosis, and maternal and child health resources. Mr. Anatory is an accountant by training and also holds an MBA.
