Dr. Fredrick Moshi

Dr Fredrick Moshi is the Zonal Technical Manager for USAID Police and Prisons Activity, Lake Zone. He is responsible for provision of leadership, management, monitoring/evaluation and technical support in the overall implementation of the USAID Police and Prisons Activity for comprehensive HIV and TB care, treatment and prevention services at the Lake Zone.

Prior to this position, Dr. Moshi worked as the Zonal Project Manager for the USAID Uhuru tuberculous and family planning Facility solutions Activity at THPS in Kigoma and Katavi regions. Before joining THPS he worked with other donor-funded organizations in different capacities: with Amref as Sexual reproductive health technical officer in Simiyu region, Christian Social Services Commission as program officer in the lake zone regions and with ICAP as regional coordinator in Geita and Kagera regions.

Dr. Moshi has more than nine years in the implementation of project activities ranging from community and facility RMNCAH services, Adolescent Sexual reproductive health, VMMC, HIV care and treatment (adult and pediatric), PMTCT, Continous quality improvement, community HIV services (PrEP, DREAMS, HTS, KVP, Linkage and retention), GBV, Cervical cancer prevention (CECAP) and TB/HIV collaborative activities. He graduated from MUHAS as a medical doctor and has a master’s degree in public health.
