Dr. Frederick Ndossi, AFYA HATUA project Care and Treatment Director, has over 8 years of public health experience working with USG Donor funded projects, under different capacities; starting as Regional Clinical Coordinator-Ruvuma; Regional Program Manager; Senior Program Advisor Regional Implementation assisting the COP to ensure smooth implementation of HIV and AIDS in Southern Highlands (Mbeya, Songwe, Rukwa, Katavi and Ruvuma); also worked as Acting Associate Director Clinical Services. In his last role he served as Senior Program Advisor Mentorship and Coaching.

Dr. Ndossi works closely with the AFYA HATUA PI to provide programmatic and day-to-day leadership and technical oversight of all key components of client centered comprehensive facility and community-based HIV prevention, care and treatment services throughout the HIV cascade at Kigoma, Shinyanga and Pwani regions under the project.
