THPS is implementing the USAID Uhuru wa Afya project from July 2020 to September 2025, with the goal of improving access and use of quality Tuberculosis (TB) and family planning services for better health outcomes for Tanzanian citizens.

Working in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the National TB and Leprosy Program, and the Reproductive and Child Health Services Unit, the project aims to provide an integrated approach to enhancing the delivery of TB and family planning services in both public and private health facilities in Katavi, Kigoma, Rukwa, and Songwe regions.

The following are the project’s major expected results:

1. Ensure improved access to high-quality, person-centered TB and HIV services at the facility level.
2. Reduce TB disease transmission and progression through facility-based service delivery.
3. Strengthen access to and utilization of quality family planning services at the facility level.
